At BRS, we aim to educate people from all different age groups and at all different levels. We try to make our learning fun, engaging and personally moving, and are always open to new suggestions on what we could teach. For the younger members of our community, we have the Cheder and mini-cheder. Adults can come and learn in a supportive group environment in a number of differing ways: Rabbi Neil runs the Yesodei Hayehadut (Foundations of Judaism) course, which is entirely online and accessible through this website. Members get special access to the Foundations Forum, where they discuss matters that they have read. Rabbi Jenny runs an Introduction to Talmud class once a week and we also havea course to introduce people to Hebrew reading. Finally, we host the Torah Breakfast before the second Shabbat morning service of every month and we host the Reform Judaism for Life courseafter the third Shabbat morning service of every month. From time to time, we also hold a number of shiurim on various topics, often related to the festivals, and these are announced from the Bimah well in advance. We have a number of opportunities for more online learning, which you can enjoy by clicking below: Ask Rabbi Neil. Ask the question you've always wanted to ask! Online Courses. For the benefit of members who live very far away, or for individuals who missed a shiur or course of sessions, we occasionally put the learning online. You are also invited to come and visit our library for quiet study or to borrow some of our books. Members are also invited to add their comments, thoughts and questions to our Foundations Forum (members only).
