Firstly, welcome to our website. Our website is the most comprehensive website of any synagogue in the UK - with over 200 pages of information.

If you're new to this site, or indeed new to the internet, the sections below will help make your viewing easier and more enjoyable.

Navigating our pages

The menu down the left-hand side of the page appears throughout the site, and contain subject headings, such as "BRS at Prayer" and "Education." By clicking on the relevant word, you'll be whisked away into that topic heading, and can explore the site that way. If you hold the mouse over some of the subject headings, others appear to the right. These are some of the most visited pages on a related theme. Feel free to either move the mouse over to these individual pages, or simply click on the name in the left-hand menu and you'll go straight to that page.

There is also a menu at the top of every page (which you must have used to access this page). If you ever get lost in the vast expanse of our website, simply click on the left-hand button (Home) and that will take you back to the very first page on our site.

What's on each page?

You will notice three little icons on the right-hand side of every page. The icon on the left turns the page you are looking at into a PDF document (useful for those who need it!). The second icon, much more likely to be used, allows you to print the page you are on. This may be particualrly useful, for example, when looking at the current calendar or when accessing online learning. The final icon allows you to email the contents of the current page.

Can't find what you're looking for? Just above those three icons is a small box that says "search" in it. Simply type in a word that relates to what you're looking for, e.g. "Co-Learners," press Enter and the website will give you a list of all the pages in our site that mention what you're looking for. Simply click on the title in orange and you'll be sent straight to that page.

Some pages contain restricted information and are therefore only available for individuals who either belong to Bournemouth Reform Synagogue or to one of our sibling communities. Our security has to be very tight to ensure that our communities are kept safe. If you think you should have a username and password, or if you are having problems with logging in, please contact us at the office.
